Our Story
DHJVC was founded with a clear conviction: businesses deserve technology partners who share their goals, challenge their assumptions, and build software that solves real problems. Over more than a decade, we have delivered projects across media and communications, retail and e-commerce, financial services, professional services, and high-tech and IoT sectors.
We are not a body shop. We are not a vendor. We are a partner in the truest sense — small enough to move fast, experienced enough to deliver at enterprise scale. Our team combines deep technical capability with strategic thinking, working directly with founders, CTOs, and product leaders to build things that matter.
Key Milestones
DHJVC founded in London by Jerome Charvet and Vicky Cheng. First client engagements in web development and digital strategy.
Expanded into AI and machine learning services. Opened Paris office to serve European clients.
Launched cloud computing and DevOps practice. Delivered first enterprise-scale projects on AWS and GCP.
Integrated generative AI and LLM capabilities into client projects. Began building AI-assisted workflows for production use.
Launched DHJVC Labs — open-source tools and experiments. Released PulsoDoro, a native desktop Pomodoro timer built with Tauri v2 and Rust.
Meet the Founders
DHJVC is led by two co-founders who combine enterprise technology experience with entrepreneurial drive.
Jerome Charvet
Jerome leads the technical direction and engineering practice at DHJVC. A seasoned technology leader, he has served as CTO for multiple London-based startups — including Sportskred, LeSalon, Flyto, and The Busking Project — and as Technical Director at Digital Partners, guiding teams from product strategy through to scalable delivery. He also founded DH: Digital Hosting, a managed hosting business he has run since 2010. With over 20 years of experience spanning full-stack development, cloud architecture, and systems programming, Jerome works directly with clients to architect and build software solutions. He is also the creator of PulsoDoro, DHJVC Labs' open-source desktop Pomodoro timer built with Tauri v2 and Rust.
Vicky Cheng
Vicky leads strategic growth, digital advisory, and ecosystem partnerships at DHJVC. With extensive experience in business development and partner management at global technology leaders including IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle, she brings deep digital insight into enterprise sales, channel strategy, and scalable go-to-market execution. As an enterprise software solution strategist specialising in cloud computing, data and AI, digital transformation, and security, Vicky helps organisations translate complex technologies into practical, outcome-driven strategies.
How We Work
Technical depth over trend-following
We choose technologies for longevity and performance, not because they are fashionable. Our default stack is opinionated about quality, maintainability, and security.
Partnership, not outsourcing
We work alongside your team — sharing goals, challenging assumptions, and taking ownership of outcomes. We are accountable for what we build.
Ship fast, ship safely
We combine startup speed with enterprise discipline. CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code are defaults, not afterthoughts.
Open source when it matters
Through DHJVC Labs, we selectively open-source tools for the broader developer community. Not everything we build is public, but when sharing makes the ecosystem stronger, we contribute back.
Ready to Work Together?
Whether you need a technical co-pilot for a complex build or a strategic partner for digital transformation, we would like to hear from you.
